The Chat/Messages pane is the bottom rectangular area that shows a box for messages you receive and a chat area for messages you send. The two areas are interactive – sent chat messages display in the messages list and selecting a message in the messages list displays the server’s name in the Chat With field.
Opening multiple Chat/Message areas: You can open multiple Chat/Message areas allowing you to conduct multiple chat sessions at the same time. Just click the Tear-off icon to open a separate, sizable and movable window. You can move the window around on your screen and resize it. The Chat/Messages area in the main program remains in its current state — it is not hidden or resized. Each Chat/Messages window operates independently.
